Concrete Polishing Pad
We have completed millions of square feet of polished concrete for hundreds of customers using a concrete polishing pad system. After we finish the job we always meet with our customers and discuss the maintenance of their new floor. Maintaining a polished concrete floor is pretty simple if you follow a few very important rules.
First, always use a neutral PH cleaner when scrubbing. Second, make sure to use a polishing pad on a regular basis, typically once a week or once a month.
Matching the level of polishing pad to the level of floor polish that was installed in the first place is a great place to start. If you polished your floor to 800 grit, start with an 800 grit polishing pad. Eventually, if you want you can move up to a higher grit polishing pad you can.
Polishing pads can be used wet or dry and with a wide variety of equipment like buffers, burnishers or scrubbers. If you use them dry you may want to incorporate some type of vacuum system to keep any dust down.
ICS has been polishing concrete floors for the last 8 or so years and has extensive knowledge of the right pads and equipment to keep your floor looking like it was just polished.
